By the beginning of year 2, the PLO Assessment study results have been analyzed (Step 3) and the final report is delivered to the program. The next step is to disseminate the results within programs through several meetings.

First, the PLO Assessment faculty lead meets with the Director of ALEEC and the Associate Vice Provost of Academic Affairs. The goal of this meeting is to discuss results in relation to where skills are taught in the program curriculum and identify possible program or course improvements based on the results.

Next, the faculty lead shares the results with department chair, undergraduate program director, undergraduate advisors, the department manager, and faculty instructors involved in the assessment.

These meetings are followed by other meetings with the department undergraudate committee, as well as faculty meetings. Note that the faculty lead has discretion about who results are shared with, and how. PLO assessment results are never shared beyond programs without permission.

ALEEC assessment specialists are available to help develop figures and infographics to share with departments to disseminate results.

After results are shared, the next step is to plan changes that programs will make to improve student learning outcomes (Step 5).
